During my Xmas stay, I loved the fact that the hotel offered beautifully appointed rooms with a mix of traditional Chinese and contemporary furnishings. The location was also a key highlight, as it was just a short walk away from the lovely pedestrian canals filled with shops and restaurants. I enjoyed the extensive and diverse breakfast buffet that was offered, providing a great start to each day.
, There were a couple of negative aspects during my stay. there was an issue with the bathtub drain in my room, which caused the shower to fill up and not empty properly.

The hotel's location in the centre of old Suzhou is perfect for exploring the city's historic district. It is really close to several classical gardens, allowing for easy exploration of these beautiful attractions. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, with spotlessly clean rooms that were a pleasure to stay in. The staff were friendly and provided warm and kind service from the moment I arrived.
Nothing to dislike.

I have been living an apartment in Changzhou with business. As this apartment has no bath tab, I have been able to enjoy taking a bath tab in this hotel. The bath room in this hotel was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff could speak English very well and also Japnese a little. In nest time too, I will stay at this hotel.

In the staff's friendliness and helpfulness towards guests, as some reviews mentioned a lack of assistance with taxi arrangements and unfriendly service during check-in and check-out.

Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, great location and surrounding. Will definitely recommend and stay again !!
The only problem we found was when ordering drinks, the staff had no idea what Gin@Tonic is and when we ordered Gin Martini - it was covered with ice and gin taste was nowhere to be found. But that is the only negative in regards to this hotel.

Superb hotel which has been highly under-rated. Staff very helpful and room was the best room of our entire stay in China.

Great location for exploring the city and trying out amazing restaurants nearby. the view from the terrace was amazing, especially at sunset. the staff were very helpful with all of our requests.
Sadly, the room was not up to our expectations. It was quite small, had a very uncomfortable bed and outdated decor.

This hotel offers a truly luxurious experience with its exclusive amenities. the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and silk duvets. We particularly enjoyed the private facilities, such as the tea-making area and the attractive gardens.
The only issue we had was with the swimming pool. Although it was a lovely facility, the water was quite cold and we found this a bit uncomfortable.
